April Fool’s! Oh… it is? No it- … oh. Whatever! Who thought up this weird holiday anyways…

Anyways, have fun tricking random people, friends, and family members today! If you know somebody who’s on the computer a lot, here’s a neat prank you can do.

1. Close all windows on the target computer/user/login.
2. Locate and press the “Print Screen” button on your keyboard. This will put a screenshot of the screen in your clipboard, which is where stuff goes when you copy/paste and stuff like that.
3. Open Paint and go to Edit -> Paste (or pressCtrl-V).
4. Go to File -> Set as Background (Stretched) - it shouldn’t LOOK like the target’s background changed at all.
5. Open your Task Manager (Ctrl-Alt-Delete/Ctrl-Shift-Escape). Go to the processes tab, and locate “explorer.exe” or “Windows Explorer” - this is the “program” that lets users navigate through Windows. Click on it and click End Process. 

Ta-da! It looks like the target’s computer is fully functional, but in reality, they can’t do anything - the background just makes it look like stuff is there. Try to watch them as they try to access their “working” computer.
